Hey there! I’m Becky Sasala—writer, dreamer, and professional herder of animals (seriously, I have a pack of dogs and a couple of cats who keep me on my toes). I’m also married to a retired soldier, and we have two awesome adult kids and two incredible grandkids who light up my world. Life’s always an adventure around here, and that chaos fuels a lot of the stories I write.

I’ve been a bookworm for as long as I can remember, so writing felt like the natural next step. I love creating the kind of stories I’d want to read—whether it’s magic-infused urban fantasy, dramatic space operas, or anything in between. One of my proudest moments? Publishing my short story Queen of Swords in an anthology by Holly Lisle. (Yes, I totally happy-danced about it. No regrets.)

These days, I’m hooked on urban fantasy. There’s something magical about blending the ordinary with the extraordinary, creating worlds where ghosts, dragons, or magic are just around the corner. I’m juggling a few projects right now, all packed with clever characters, impossible obstacles, and those “aha!” moments where they outsmart the odds. I can’t resist throwing my characters a few curveballs to keep things interesting.
